2011 Spelling Bee Team

3rd-8th Graders

Congratulations to the 2010-2011 Timmerman Spelling Team who competed in the SCISA spelling regionals at Heathwood Hall in Columbia on Thursday, January 13, 2011.  Representatives are as follows: 3rd Grade - Rohan Nath and Caitlin Kunchur, 4th Grade - Ainsley Gossett and Nithin Saravanapandian, 5th Grade - Flinn Christian and Ashlee Lasecki, 6th Grade - Hareem Mahmood and Peyton Pratt, 7th Grade - Jackson Gossett and Hannan Mahmood, 8th Grade - Eboni Belton and Owen Withycombe.  Special congratulations to Nithin, Flinn, Hareem, and Owen for qualifying for State Competition in February.

Congratulations to 4th Grader Nithin Saravanapandian.  He won 1st place in the SCISA State Spelling competition.

Congratulations to our 2011 Spelling Team.  An unprecedented 4th consecutive SCISA State Championship!!!!

The Timmerman School Spelling Team won the region on January 19, 2012 in Laurens, S.C.  The team has 4 members going to state finals in february.  Finalists are Rohan Nath, Nithin Saravanapandian, Krizzia Dejesus, and Bethany Harrell.  Other team members include Kennedy Robinson, Joshua Sutherland, Meagan Boswell, Tivi Sutherland, Ravi Nataraj, Jack Rentiers, Hareem Mahmood, Hannan Mahmood, and Jackson Gossett. We congratulate these hard-working students and wish them well in state.
